CentTune by Animus Vertex - installation on Windows
======================================================

CentTune comes in two formats for Windows; the installer puts both where your DAW looks for them:

  VST3 Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, Reaper, Studio One, ...
  CLAP   Bitwig Studio, Reaper, ...

(Audio Units only exist on macOS.) Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.

1. Run the installer
--------------------

Double-click CentTune-<version>-Setup.exe, accept the license agreement and keep both formats,
or untick the one you do not use. Windows asks for administrator rights, since plug-ins live in
C:\Program Files\Common Files.

If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click "More info", then "Run anyway". The installer
is not signed with a paid code-signing certificate yet, so Windows does not recognise its
publisher; nothing else is wrong with it.

2. Let your DAW find CentTune
------------------------------

Restart your DAW, or rescan its plug-ins, and load CentTune on a guitar track.

To update, run the installer of the new version: it replaces the old one.
To uninstall, use Settings > Apps > Installed apps > CentTune.

Installing by hand instead
--------------------------

The folder "Manual install" holds the same plug-ins. Copy them yourself:

  CentTune.vst3  ->  C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
  CentTune.clap  ->  C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP

Create the CLAP folder if it is missing. Windows asks for administrator rights to copy there.
